Parking
ICC Sydney operates two 24 hour car parking stations with a total of 826 parking spaces including 11 accessible parking bays, 25 motorcycle parking spaces, 50 bicycle racks and 25 electric car charge spaces.
The two car park facilities are located within the Exhibition Centre (Car Park 1) and TikTok Entertainment Centre (Car Park 2).
Electric Charging bays:
ICC Sydney has 20 electric car charging bays located in Car Park 1. TikTok Entertainment Centre has 5 electric car charging bays located on Level 1 in Car Park 2.

ICC Sydney operates as cashless parking only.
Payment for parking can be made using credit card.

TICKETLESS – tap credit card/phone pay on entry – no ticket is issued – tap same credit card/phone pay on exit and payment is made.
TICKET – take a ticket on entry, then when ready to exit pay at pay stations or exit gates with ticket and credit card.

GETTING TO ICC SYDNEY
Where is ICC Sydney located?
ICC Sydney is located at 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000, in the heart of the Darling Harbour precinct.
You can reach ICC Sydney easily by multiple transport modes:
- Train – Town Hall or Central stations are about a 10-minute walk away.
- Light Rail – The L1 Dulwich Hill light rail stops at ICC Sydney’s Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre.
- Bus – Routes such as 389 and 501 stop near Harris Street / Allen Street, about 10 minutes’ walk from ICC Sydney.
- Ferry / Water Taxi – You can arrive by water via Darling Harbour ferry terminals or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.
- Car / Taxi / Rideshare – ICC Sydney offers two secure internal car parks; there are also external car parks nearby including Harbourside Car Park (100 Murray Street, Pyrmont). Vehicle clearance is 2.2 m.
What are the transport options available to reach ICC Sydney?
You can reach ICC Sydney via a variety of transport methods, including:
- Train: Central and Town Hall Stations are approximately a 10-minute walk from the venue.
- Light Rail / Metro / Public Transport: The Sydney Light Rail and Metro services provide easy access to Darling Harbour and nearby stops.
- Bus / Coach: There are bus routes (e.g., routes 389 and 501) that stop near the venue (Harris Street near Allen Street), a short walk away.
- Ferry / Water Taxi: You can take a ferry or water taxi to nearby wharves (such as Barangaroo or Pyrmont Bay) and walk to ICC Sydney from there.
- Taxi / Rideshare / Car: There are dedicated taxi and rideshare drop-off and pick-up zones at Iron Wharf Place (near Sofitel Darling Harbour) and Zollner Circuit (at the southern end of the centre).
- Walking or Cycling: For locals or nearby visitors, walking from Central or Town Hall is feasible. There are also bicycle racks and shower/change-room facilities in Car Park 1 for cyclists.
Is there onsite parking at ICC Sydney, and how many spaces are available?
Yes. ICC Sydney has two 24-hour car parking stations (Car Park 1 and Car Park 2) with a total of 826 parking spaces. This includes standard bays, accessible bays, motorcycle spaces, bicycle racks, and electric car charging bays.
Can I pre-book parking?
No, ICC Sydney’s parking facilities operate on a first-come, first-served basis. There is currently no pre-booking option available for car parking, if you are planning to attend an event, we recommend you plan to get there early and secure your parking.
What are the parking rates and how does payment work?
Parking is cashless only. Payment is by credit card, debit card, or mobile/phone payment: you tap on entry and tap again on exit. Alternatively, you can take a ticket on entry and pay at a pay station or exit gate on your way out.

What is the best driving route to reach ICC Sydney from various parts of Sydney?
From the city east / north / west: Follow signs to Darling Harbour / Darling Drive via Harbour Bridge and follow the exit to Darling Drive or Pier Street roundabout.
From the south / via the motorway: Take the Eastern Distributor or M1, exit via Cross City Tunnel to Harbour Street, then continue toward Darling Drive.
These routes lead you to the roundabout at Darling Drive, where you can access the venue entrance.
How far is ICC Sydney from Sydney Airport, and what transport options are available from the airport?
ICC Sydney (Darling Harbour) is only about 8 km from Sydney Airport, and approximately a 25-minute drive under normal traffic conditions.
Transport options from the airport include taxi or rideshare directly to the venue, or public transport via rail/light rail with a short walk from Central Station.
Are there alternative transport or sustainable travel options to reach ICC Sydney?
Yes, ICC Sydney encourages public transport, cycling or walking. There are bike racks plus shower and change-room facilities for cyclists.
You can also catch nearby ferries or water taxis to Darling Harbour, then walk a short distance to the venue.
What should I check before travelling to ICC Sydney?
Because transport services occasionally change (light rail, metro, train, buses), it’s recommended to check live transport updates and any service alerts from local providers, especially if you plan to rely on public transport.
Are there nearby parking and public transport alternatives if ICC Sydney’s parking is full?
Yes. Besides ICC Sydney’s car parks, there are secure public parking facilities around Darling Harbour, such as Wilson Harbourside Car Park or First Parking Darling Square Car Park. You can also consider arriving by light rail, train, ferry, bus or rideshare to avoid parking issues altogether.
