Transport & Access Options

Walking

Event Deck

Access to the Event Deck as a thoroughfare for members of the public is usually possible between sunrise and sunset. Occasionally access will be temporarily restricted in line with scheduled event operations. On those occasions signage is displayed ahead of time advising the public of the upcoming closure period.

Sydney Light Rail

The Light Rail travels right through a number of Darling Harbour stations including ICC Sydney’s stops, Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre. The Light Rail starts at Central Station in the CBD and travels to Dulwich Hill in the inner west.

Darling Harbour is only 8km from Sydney Airport.

Taxi

Water Taxi

Water Taxi is a great option for getting to and from Darling Harbour. Water Taxi’s depart from The Rocks, Circular Quay, The Opera House and Luna Park.

Train

Train

A short walk from Central or Town Hall will take you directly to Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and Sydney Visitor Centre. Town Hall and Central Stations are a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Ferry

Cruise into Darling Harbour on a ferry from Circular Quay and alight at Barangaroo Wharf, or Pyrmont Bay Wharf. View Ferry services to plan your trip.

Bus

Bus

ICC Sydney has its own bus stop. Bus routes 389 and 501 stop at Harris Street near Allen Street – a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Taxi

Taxi and Uber

The best taxi and Uber drop off and pick up locations include the new Iron Wharf Place next to Harbourside Shopping Centre and Zollner Circuit on the Southern end of ICC Sydney Theatre, both accessed via Darling Drive.

Bike racks are available in Exhibition Car Park 1 including male and female shower and change room facilities. Personal locks are required. Find your Sydney cycling route here

Parking

ICC Sydney operates two 24 hour car parking stations with a total of 826 parking spaces including 12 accessible parking bays, 25 motorcycle parking spaces, 50 bicycle racks and 25 electric car charge spaces.

The two car park facilities are located within the Exhibition Centre (Car Park 1) and ICC Sydney Theatre (Car Park 2).

Electric Charging bays:
ICC Sydney has 20 electric car charging bays located in Car Park 1. ICC Sydney Theatre has 5 electric car charging bays located on Level 1 in Car Park 2.

ICC Sydney operates as cashless parking only.
Payment for parking can be made using credit card.

*Please note we do not offer pre-booking for car parking.

TICKETLESS – tap credit card/phone pay on entry – no ticket is issued – tap same credit card/phone pay on exit and payment is made.

TICKET – take a ticket on entry, then when ready to exit pay at pay stations or exit gates with ticket and credit card.
