Where is ICC Sydney located and how do I get there?
ICC Sydney is located in Darling Harbour on Cockle Bay, in the heart of Sydney’s waterfront precinct. ICC Sydney’s administration office is located at 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000.
You can reach ICC Sydney easily by multiple transport modes:
- Train – Town Hall or Central stations are about a 10-minute walk away.
- Light Rail – The L1 Dulwich Hill light rail stops at ICC Sydney’s Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre.
- Bus – Routes such as 389 and 501 stop near Harris Street / Allen Street, about 10 minutes’ walk from ICC Sydney.
- Ferry / Water Taxi – You can arrive by water via Darling Harbour ferry terminals or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.
- Car / Taxi / Rideshare – ICC Sydney offers two secure internal car parks; there are also external car parks nearby including Harbourside Car Park (100 Murray Street, Pyrmont). Vehicle clearance is 2.2 m.
How do I access ICC Sydney?
Entry and Parking: ICC Sydney provides accessible car parking spaces as well as lift access from car parks.
Accessibility: The venue provides step-free access to every entertainment, exhibition and conference venue, wheelchair seating with adjacent carer seat in all theatre venues, lowered counters at key retail/service points and wheelchair and ambulant accessible restroom.
Can I park at ICC Sydney?
ICC Sydney has 800+ secure car parking spaces available. Vehicle entry height is 2.2m.
Additionally, visitors can make use of a number of secure car parks located in and around Darling Harbour, the closest located at Harbourside Car Park, 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont. Find more parking on Google Maps.
Can I pre-book parking?
We do not currently offer pre-booking services for our car parks. To ensure the best event experience possible, please arrive early to your event and simply tap with the same credit card (we are a cashless venue) on entry and exit to beat the queues!
What transport options are available arriving from Sydney CBD or the Airport?
If you’re travelling from the CBD; Central and Town Hall stations are just a 10 – 15-minute walk from ICC Sydney.
From Sydney Airport (only about 8 km away), visitors can use taxis, buses, train, or light rail to reach the venue. The trip by car, taxi or rideshare typically takes around 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
General public transport: train, light rail, ferry, bus is strongly recommended, as these options avoid parking congestion and offer easy pedestrian access to the venue.
How can I find detailed venue maps and plan my visit in advance?
ICC Sydney offers interactive venue maps and directions, including step-free access routes, lift locations and transport links. These are available via the “Getting Here” section on our website.
We recommend reviewing the map before your visit especially if you have accessibility or mobility requirements to plan the easiest route to parking, lifts, or theatre entrances.
Are there nearby hotels, dining, and attractions around ICC Sydney?
Yes. ICC Sydney sits in a vibrant harbour-front precinct with many amenities nearby:
- Over 40 metro and hotel accommodation options within walking distance.
- A wide selection of restaurants, cafés and bars in Darling Harbour, Darling Quarter, Darling Square, and surrounding areas; ideal for pre- or post-event dining.
- Attractions such as retail, cultural precincts, and Sydney’s CBD are easily accessible from ICC Sydney.
Is ICC Sydney accessible if I need mobility support or use a wheelchair?
Absolutely. ICC Sydney has been purpose-built for accessibility:
- Step-free and lift/elevator access throughout the venues.
- Wheelchair and ambulant-accessible toilets, lowered counters at key service points, and accessible seating in theatres.
- Wheelchair hire is available at Customer Service desks. Mobility aids and prams are permitted, provided they are stored safely and do not block aisles or exits.

Where can I find accessible seating and support for events at ICC Sydney's entertainment spaces?
Accessible seating is available at the main venues:
- TikTok Entertainment Centre – Accessible seating on Level 2 and Level 4.
- Darling Harbour Theatre – Accessible seating at ground floor, Level 3, and Level 4.
To book accessible tickets, patrons should go through the authorised ticket provider for the event. Accessible-ticket options are often selectable via the “Accessible” filter.
For any special requirements such as companion seating, hearing/vision assistance or mobility support, please contact Customer Service or the ticket provider ahead of time.
Does ICC Sydney cater for hearing and vision assistance needs?
Yes, ICC Sydney supports guests with hearing and vision assistance needs. The venues offer hearing augmentation systems and tactile/ Braille signage for accessibility.

What if I need first aid or medical support while visiting ICC Sydney?
First Aid rooms are located across all buildings: Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre and TikTok Entertainment Centre.
If you need medical assistance during an event, please approach any team member or contact ICC Sydney Security (or dial 000 in an emergency). Staff are trained first responders and can assist appropriately.
Can I bring children, prams, or service animals to events?
Yes. ICC Sydney permits prams and mobility aids as long as they don’t obstruct passageways or exits.
Accredited service animals and guide dogs are welcome. Guests should display the animal’s identification badge or medallion. For the comfort of all attendees, please notify staff when booking so appropriate seating or support can be arranged.
