International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by Legends Global, has announced the launch of its 2026 Menu Collection, headlined by the introduction of its new Planet First menu – a meaningful step forward in sustainable, low‑carbon dining for the business events industry.
The Planet First menu has been meticulously crafted to minimise environmental impact while celebrating the richness of local, seasonal and Indigenous ingredients. Every dish has undergone carbon‑footprint analysis, with ICC Sydney’s world class chefs prioritising responsibly sourced seafood, free‑range poultry and native produce such as Davidson’s plum and saltbush – offering delegates a dining experience that tastes good, feels good and does good for the planet.
ICC Sydney General Manager – Operations, Lynell Peck said that the new menu collection strengthens ICC Sydney’s commitment to delivering meaningful value for clients, saying: “Our clients are increasingly seeking event experiences that align with their sustainability goals. Planet First gives them a way to make a positive environmental choice without sacrificing quality or creativity. It’s a menu that elevates the delegate experience while supporting the communities and ecosystems that sustain us.”
ICC Sydney Executive Chef Rakesh Pillai said the new collection reflects the team’s passion for responsible, future‑focused cuisine, saying: “Planet First represents our commitment to cooking with purpose. We wanted to create dishes that honour the land, respect our producers and deliver exceptional flavour without compromising the environment. This menu is about celebrating Australian ingredients in a way that is thoughtful, contemporary and deeply connected to place. By choosing the Planet First, event organisers directly support regional producers, including First Nations communities, and contribute to a more resilient future for generations to come.”
