International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by Legends Global, has been elevated to Gold Tier status in Pride in Diversity’s Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) as announced at the Australian LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards held at the venue on Friday, 29 May.
Driven by ICC Sydney’s internal LGBTQIA+ employee resource group for diversity, The Same Same Collective, and underpinned by its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy, this accolade highlights ICC Sydney’s best practice approach and the importance it places on fostering an inclusive workplace.
ICC Sydney Chief Executive Officer Adam Mather-Brown said: “At ICC Sydney, our mission is to make a difference – and we do this by continually shaping an inclusive workplace for our team members and visitors. Everyone who arrives through our doors should feel respected, welcomed and have a sense of belonging. Achieving Gold reaffirms our team’s dedication to continuing to meet the highest national standards with regards to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
