International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, has produced another award-winning graduate of the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) Future Shapers leadership program following a competitive on-stage pitch to solve convention centre industry challenges at the AIPC Congress held in Costa Rica this week.
AIPC Future Shapers’ ‘FutureForce’ team, steered by ICC Sydney senior team member Gabriella Alberici, Senior Manager, Business Development – Corporate, Government & Events, and supported by Director of Corporate Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Samantha Glass, together with representatives from convention centres in Paris, Belfast and Kuala Lumpur, was recognised for presenting a top new technological platform concept that will attract talent globally, foster career development, networking, learning, and raise awareness of the business events industry, optimising the industry’s most essential commodity – its people.
ICC Sydney Chief Executive Officer and Group Director – Convention Centres, ASM Global (APAC), Geoff Donaghy praised Gabriella and Samantha’s commitment to driving innovative solutions and sharing them via AIPC’s global platform.
