International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has taken home a sweep of awards at the Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence, including Best Corporate Citizen, Best Venue Team; Sibos 2018 and the Richard Geddes Young Achiever, which was awarded to team member Aiden Hippensteel.
Held last night, the national industry awards celebrate the exceptional work of organisers, association organisers, venues and suppliers in the exhibition and events industry.
CEO of ICC Sydney, Geoff Donaghy said the venue’s achievements are reflective of its commitment to the community as well as the exceptionally talented team behind every event delivery.
“To be honoured with three national accolades as we faced the best-of-the-best in our industry from around the country is a fantastic achievement for our venue and the team.

This multifaceted event was one of the most complex we had ever delivered and to have done this in only our second year of operation is truly extraordinary.
