International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is once again showcasing its commitment to fostering the local wine industry, this time as the presenting partner of the ICC Sydney New South Wales (NSW) Wine Awards taking place at the venue today.
The partnership with the NSW Wine Association will see the premier convention, exhibition and entertainment venue host the awards for three years. ICC Sydney’s Beverage Operations and Cellar Manager, William Wilson was again one of the 16 expert judges who conducted a three-day blind tasting of nearly 900 wines, awarding 72 gold medals, with select labels now in the running for trophies at the award ceremony.
CEO of ICC Sydney, Geoff Donaghy said his team is proud to support the NSW Wine Awards to carry on its legacy of helping raise the profile of NSW producers on the national and global stage.

Our work with the NSW Wine Association is just another way we are strengthening our relationship with local producers, alongside building the presence of local winemakers and brands within our upcoming 2020 wine list.”
