International Convention Centre Sydney’s (ICC Sydney) Culinary Services reaped praise overnight at the New South Wales Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence. The venue took home the 2018 Sydney Metropolitan Function/Convention Centre Caterer as well as the highly coveted, Sydney Metropolitan Caterer of the Year.
Recognising the best in the industry for service and culinary talent, the annual awards are independently judged and acknowledge those who excel in their field. The in-depth judging process involved an onsite visit to an event, where every aspect of the culinary service was reviewed and experienced by the judges.
CEO of ICC Sydney, Geoff Donaghy said the award was a great acknowledgment for the venue and the new industry standard it has set in its culinary services offerings.
“Since opening in December 2016, ICC Sydney has built a reputation of setting a new industry benchmarks in delivering business events. Our clients’ success is our success and these awards highlight the outstanding level of event delivery we bring to every event,” Donaghy said.
