OVERVIEW

ICC Sydney hosted 3,000 attendees at Global Sourcing Expo 2023, the first truly global wholesale sourcing show of its kind in Sydney. The show provides direct access to industry professionals associated with buying and sourcing apparel, textiles, home and giftware products. With a largely international exhibitor audience the event delivery showcased ICC Sydney’s knowledge and expertise in servicing a wonderfully diverse audience.

Culturally diverse professionals

ICC Sydney’s extraordinary team is just as diverse as its clients and delegates, with 82 different languages represented across the venue’s workforce. This rich range of backgrounds elevated the venue’s standard of customer service for Global Sourcing Expo, with 95% of exhibitors from China, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. The significant multicultural understanding of our world class team of professionals enabled all exhibitors and attendees feel seen and heard through authentic interactions in their language of choice.

Authentic food menus

ICC Sydney proudly offered its signature menu that celebrated premium and seasonal produce from local suppliers. The expertise of the Culinary Services team delivered dining experiences that showcased the best of our region and beyond, adaptable to the needs of every client. The kiosk menu was tailored to serve the international palate of attendees, with incredible offerings from butter chicken to chickpea and vegetable curry.

Versatile event spaces

ICC Sydney’s state-of-the-art venue spaces served the various needs of the Global Sourcing Expo program. The Exhibition Centre welcomed 450 exhibiting companies across Halls 5, 6 and 7, with the Global Sourcing Seminars program industry workshops held concurrently in Meeting Rooms E5.2 and E5.3. The rooms were also used for exhibitor welcome and lunch receptions, and a cocktail function for 60 guests that the experienced event team delivered to the highest quality with a quick turnaround.
