VENUE MANAGER, THE CUTAWAY
Jack Weatherby-Fell brings more than a decade of experience across Australia’s leading convention and event venues to his new role as Venue Manager, The Cutaway. Most recently Head of Events at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, he has led large scale exhibitions, conferences and corporate events with strategic insight and operational excellence.
Jack previously spent several years at ICC Sydney, including as an Event Planner, Manager, Event Planning and Senior Event Manager and delivering major events including SXSW Sydney, Intel Extreme Masters, AWS Summit, Sydney International Boat Show, Fine Food Australia, Salesforce World Tour, Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition, FIFA Women’s World Cup Convention and the Home Show. Known for his calm leadership, analytical approach and creative problem solving, Jack now leads The Cutaway’s event planning and operations supported by ICC Sydney’s General Manager – Operations, Lynell Peck.

With more than 25 years of experience in Sydney’s event and entertainment industry, Ricky Joseph is a highly skilled technical and operational leader known for delivering world class events and exceptional client service. Returning to ICC Sydney as AV Manager – The Cutaway, Ricky brings the strong leadership and calm expertise he was known for as part of the venue’s original opening team.
His career includes senior roles at ICC Sydney, Harry the Hirer and The Star Entertainment Group where he excelled in large‑scale event logistics, stakeholder management and technical delivery. Ricky is renowned for his professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to flawless event execution.
