ICC Sydney will hold Australia’s largest annual travel and tourism business-to-business event, the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), over five days in May 2017.
ICC Sydney CEO Geoff Donaghy said the team is thrilled to be welcoming the global tourism industry to the venue that is setting a new paradigm for the events industry in the Asia Pacific region.
“With its contemporary, flexible design, state-of-the-art technology, world class service and outstanding Sydney views, ICC Sydney is set to impress the 2,300 delegates from 30 countries arriving for ATE next year,” Mr Donaghy said.
NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Stuart Ayres, saying his government was “delighted to be working with Tourism Australia on delivering a spectacular, world-class tourism event for NSW”.
He said ATE 2017 would generate significant economic benefits for the state, “while highlighting our iconic attractions, beautiful beaches, outstanding food and wine scene”.
