ICC Sydney showcases at exclusive events

11 Sep 2015

This week International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) embarked on a national roadshow to showcase the premier venue set to take the world’s events industry by storm.

Clients from Canberra and Melbourne were invited to exclusive events to explore Australia’s world class international convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct and meet key contacts within the ICC Sydney team.

The roadshow kicked off in Canberra on Tuesday with a breakfast event, followed by two events held at the Melbourne Museum. Presentations allowed clients to experience the venue’s design, features and capacity ahead of its December 2016 opening through a range of innovative tools, including a virtual look inside through a video overlaying 3D modelling and real footage.

Also making an appearance was the ICC Sydney venue model along with detailed floor plans of each level, allowing clients to discover the scale and superior quality of the rooms as well as the venue’s integration in an engaging and interactive way.

The roadshow provided an opportunity for attendees to meet the highly experienced executive team, which included Chief Executive Officer Geoff Donaghy, General Manager Adam Mather-Brown, Director of Business Development Beverley Parker and Director of Communications Samantha Glass, as they shared ICC Sydney’s vision and capabilities.
