Sustainability focus through vegetarian menu options
“ICC Sydney’s dedication to sustainability made it an ideal partner and host for Fully Charged LIVE’s debut show in Australia. The team went above and beyond in transforming the venue to showcase the latest electric vehicles and channelling sustainability through its catering, resulting in an immersive event that left a lasting impression.“

Leading the sustainability charge
United by a mission to drive innovation, make a difference and reduce environmental impact, the ICC Sydney and Fully Charged teams worked closely to create an immersive experience celebrating sustainability. With 20 EV charging stations already installed across the venue’s two car parks, ICC Sydney partnered with NRMA to update these from Type 1 chargers to Type 2 chargers in time for Fully Charged LIVE. To support the sustainability objectives of the show, 75% of items on the menu were vegetarian and carbon friendly options.
Game-changing car brands including Polestar, MG and BYD also showcased their newest zero-emissions vehicles at the event, aligning with ICC Sydney’s CSR initiatives and Net-Zero Carbon Events by 2050 pledge.
Space to take a spin
To give visitors a first-hand experience of the latest EV models, a section of the ICC Sydney car park was turned into a test and ride space, offering exhilarating test drive opportunities with car brands including Polestar, MG, BYD and Cupra alongside bike brands Fonz Moto, A E Bikes & Energica. Meanwhile, ICC Sydney’s Event Deck overlooking Tumbalong Park and the Darling Harbour precinct and the Exhibition Centre upper halls featured eBike testing tracks and eScooter mobility tracks.
