ICC Sydney features three world class venues including: Convention Centre; Exhibition Centre; and ICC Sydney Theatre. All three venues are seamlessly connected via the Level 2 concourse, which is accessible by multiple elevator / lift locations, is stair-free, and gradient compliant for people who use mobility aids or prams. Lowered or angled counters are also located at key retail and customer service points.
This section describes how to access each venue.
Convention Centre
The main entrance to the Convention Centre is also known as the ‘Ceremonial Doors’ and is the location of the Convention Centre customer service desk. Darling Harbour Theatre and the Grand Ballroom are located within the Convention Centre.
This ground floor entrance can be accessed from Tumbalong Boulevard, the Convention light rail crossing, the vehicle drop off point at Iron Wharf Place and Car Park 1 (P1). All these routes are stair-free and gradient compliant.
Elevators to Darling Harbour Theatre and the Grand Ballroom, as well as all five levels of meeting and function rooms within the Convention Centre are located to the left of the Convention Café and to the right of the Customer Service Desk.
Accessible seating for wheelchair and mobility aid users is available at Darling Harbour Theatre. For more information about accessibility and purchasing accessibility tickets at live entertainment events such as music concerts, please enquire with Ticketek.
All permanent stages at ICC Sydney are fitted with wheelchair lifts as an alternative to stairs. The stage in Darling Harbour Theatre and Pyrmont Theatre can be accessed via a series of ramps and lifts back of house if you have a speaker who would prefer to not use a wheelchair lift. Please speak to your event planner to arrange a suitable escort if back of house access is required.
Exhibition Centre
The Exhibition Centre can be accessed stair-free via multiple lifts and escalators. All ramps in this area are also gradiant compliant (excluding through landscape gardens). Lift access is located at Moriarty Place, Level 2 concourse at the Convention Centre, P1, and Tumbalong Boulevard. Vehicle drop off points can be found at Iron Wharf Place and Zollner Circuit.
The Exhibition Centre halls are located on Level 1 and Level 4. The ground floor of the Exhibition Centre is occupied by Car Park 1 (P1).
