    OVERVIEW

    International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) was selected to host the three-day conference, Confederation of Real Estate Developer’s Associations of India (CREDAI NATCON), which welcomed 1,234 delegates from across India. The event included an exhibition, a series of conference sessions and custom Indian menus during networking breaks.

    Attendees also enjoyed the venue’s stunning outdoor event deck and a grand gala dinner in Hall 6. This event truly showcased the full range of ICC Sydney’s capabilities, highlighting the flexibility of its versatile spaces, bespoke culinary offerings and proximity to all there is to offer in Sydney

For CREDAI Natcon, the Exhibition Centre was transformed into a multifunctional environment, seamlessly serving as an exhibition space, networking hub and bespoke dining areaall designed to enhance attendee engagement.

    The exhibition halls boast thousands of square metres of premium space, optimised to create a captivating atmosphere for an extraordinary event. Additionally, esteemed Indian delegates enjoyed breathtaking views of the Sydney skyline from the expansive 5,000 sqm open-air event deck, complete with an outdoor lounge and bar area. 

    Tailored, inclusive Indian menus 

    ICC Sydney’s expert culinary team, led by Executive Chef Rakesh Pillai, crafted a bespoke menu specifically tailored for the esteemed Indian delegation. His commitment to delivering authentic Indian flavours resulted in a comprehensive menu that accommodated all delegate dietary preferences including meat, vegetarian and Jain options. Over the course of three days, the culinary team served an impressive array of hot and cold dishes across multiple spaces, culminating in an exquisite banquet dinner in the Exhibition Centre.

    Throughout the event, the team received consistent praise for their inclusive menus and authentic Indian offerings. Delegates noting the exceptional nature of having such thoughtful culinary options provided by an international convention centre, further enhancing their memorable experience.

    Sydney as a walkable city

    With over 1,234 international delegates arriving in Sydney for a three-day conference, the convenience of ICC Sydney’s prime location proved to be a significant advantage. Situated in the heart of the city, ICC Sydney is just a short walk from a range of hotels, including the Sofitel, W Hotel, and the Hyatt Regency, facilitating easy access for attendees, who coined Sydney as the ‘20-minute-city’. With more than 42,000 hotel rooms nearby and over 700 direct international flights available, delegates enjoyed a seamless travel experience.  

    Furthermore, with Sydney’s iconic harbour providing a breathtaking backdrop, the city offered an ideal setting for both professional engagement and leisure. As delegates mingled and networked, they were invited to immerse themselves in Sydney’s rich culture and natural beauty, making their visit truly unforgettable.
